Dr. Conor Morrissey is a Senior Lecturer in Irish and British History at the Department of History, King’s College London (since 2018). Previously, he held positions at the University of Oxford (2016-2018) and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Trinity College Dublin (2015-2016). His educational background includes BA, MA, LLB from National University of Ireland, Galway, and a PhD from Trinity College Dublin (2015).
- Research focus: Ireland 1900-1949, Protestant nationalist identity, Home Rule Question, and Northern Ireland Troubles.
- Teaching: Modern Irish history, Modern British history at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
His recent publications analyze Protestant nationalists, Dominion Home Rule debates, and civil war dynamics. Articles span constitutional movements, landowner politics, and historiographical critiques. Collaborative works include co-editing Southern Irish Loyalism, 1912-1949.
