Connor D'Netto

Connor D'Netto is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the School of Music, University of Queensland. He holds a Master of Music from the Royal College of Music (London) and a Bachelor of Music (Honours, First-Class) from UQ. His work bridges contemporary classical music with electronic elements, creating immersive interdisciplinary experiences.

His research explores rhythmic complexity, electronic orchestration, and genre fusion. D'Netto co-directs Dots+Loops, a post-genre arts initiative promoting artistic equity, and co-founded the Argo concert series.

Recent accolades include the 2021 APRA AMCOS Professional Development Award and being named one of Australia's '21 Hottest Creative Artists'. His compositions like String Quartet No. 2 have become set works in international competitions.
