Caroline Fairchild serves as a Lecturer in the Music, Theatre, and Dance Department at the School of the Arts, California State University, Chico. A Californian violinist born into a musical family, she maintains an active career spanning classical performance, cross-genre collaborations, and music education.

Her artistic practice integrates Violin Performance across Classical, Folk, Bluegrass, Jazz, and Rock traditions, emphasizing genre fluidity and pedagogical innovation. She actively explores interdisciplinary connections between historical performance practices and contemporary musical expressions through both academic teaching and professional collaborations.
