Colleen Tapley, Ed.D., is an Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Massachusetts Lowell's School of Education. Her work focuses on special education, culturally responsive pedagogy, and equity in education. She holds a Ed.D. from Rivier University (2016), an M.Ed. (2007), and a B.A. (2002), all in education-related fields.

Recent presentations include topics like project-based learning for neurodiverse learners, liberatory design thinking, and virtual international partnerships to disrupt educational inequities. She has contributed to the Encyclopedia of Social and Solidarity Economy (2023).
