Colette Langos

Dr Colette Langos is a Senior Lecturer at the Adelaide Law School, part of the Faculty of Arts, Business, Law and Economics at the University of Adelaide. She is admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Australia and the Northern Territory, and serves as a legal officer in the Royal Australian Air Force (active reserves). Additionally, she is an Honorary Faculty Member at the Judge Advocate General School (US Army).

• Interdisciplinary Research Focus: Federal Acquisition Law, Defence Procurement Law, and Legal Regulation of Emerging Online Behaviours.
• Collaborative Projects: Joint research with the University of Nottingham on environmentally sustainable defence procurement in Australia and the UK.
• Cybercrime Expertise: Member of the Adelaide Cybercrime Laboratory, contributor to cyberbullying and sexting research with policy impacts cited in Australian Parliament and Supreme Court.

Her research combines empirical and jurisprudential methods to optimize stakeholder relationships in defence procurement and technology misuse, producing practical outputs for immediate application. She has secured multiple Cyber-Security CRC grants and explores ethical frameworks for automated data collection technologies in cybersecurity research.
