Katrina Williams is a Senior Lecturer at Curtin Law School and Director of Engagement and Impact within the Faculty of Business and Law. She specializes in clinical legal education, human rights, discrimination law, and access to justice. Her role includes coordinating the Legal Clinic Unit (LAWS3005) since 2019 and leading the Discrimination Law Advice Service and Law Reform Clinic within the John Curtin Law Clinic.
Education: Master of Laws and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Australia. Admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia.
Research interests include clinical legal education, feminist jurisprudence, and regulatory law. She has held roles as Principal Lawyer at Law Access Ltd, Senior Legal Officer with the Legal Profession Complaints Committee, and tribunal membership in two Commonwealth tribunals. Active in professional organizations such as the Law Society of WA, Women Lawyers WA, and the Australasian Law Academics Association.
Her 2023 publication focuses on integrating soft skills training into online legal education, reflecting her commitment to innovative pedagogy.
