Dr Mikhail Kashubsky is an Associate Professor at the Centre for Customs and Excise Studies (CCES), Charles Sturt University, and Head of Secretariat of the International Network of Customs Universities (INCU). He is also a barrister and solicitor admitted to the Supreme Courts of the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Queensland, the High Court of Australia, and the High Court of New Zealand. Additionally, he holds an honorary appointment as Customs Officer of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Education:
Mikhail holds a Diploma in Computer Business Administration, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Laws (LLB), Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, Master of Laws (LLM), and a PhD in law.
Research Focus:
His research spans maritime security, customs law, and international trade frameworks, with emphasis on offshore energy security, supply chain integrity, and legal governance of oceanic spaces.
