Cliff Notez is an Assistant Professor at Berklee College of Music, affiliated with the School of Professional Writing and Music Technology and the Songwriting department. Based in Boston, he combines hip-hop artistry, digital media, and entrepreneurship in his teaching and creative practice.
- Education: Dual BA in Music (Voice Concentration) and Psychology, Wheaton College (2013); MA in Digital Media, Northeastern University (2016)
His research and artistic work explores themes of Black identity, politics, and personal narratives through hip-hop, filmmaking, and digital storytelling. He founded HipStory, a digital media company, and his second album Why the Wild Things Are (2019) received critical acclaim.
