Clemence Tanzi

Clemence Tanzi is a qLegal Teaching Fellow at Queen Mary University of London's School of Law, affiliated with the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. She has been with the award-winning commercial law clinic qLegal since 2015. Her roles include designing practical learning experiences for postgraduate students and collaborating with academics, qLegal staff, and external partners on credit-bearing modules.

Education: Clemence holds a Master's degree in Intellectual Property and Design Law from Lyon II Lumiere University (France) and a Master's in International Business Law from Queen Mary University of London (UK).

Research Interests: She focuses on transformative legal education methodologies, design thinking in professional training, and fostering student engagement to support sustainable career trajectories for future legal practitioners and leaders. Her work emphasizes lifelong learning frameworks and the integration of interdisciplinary approaches in legal pedagogy.

Program Development: Active in expanding qLegal’s offerings, she collaborates internationally to build new programs aligning with contemporary legal industry needs. Beyond academia, she holds certifications as a trained certified coach, 200-hour accredited yoga teacher, and mental health first aider, reflecting her holistic approach to professional and personal development.

Labs/Teams: Core member of the qLegal commercial law clinic, contributing to its educational mission and external partnerships.
