Ian Yeats is a Senior Lecturer (part-time) at Queen Mary University of London's School of Law. He has been affiliated with the institution since 1966, serving as sub-dean and dean of the Faculty of Laws. Educated at the Universities of Aberdeen and Oxford (MA, BCL, MA), he is also a Barrister at the Inner Temple. His expertise lies in tort law and constitutional/administrative law, with contributions to Public Law journal and the All England Law Reports Annual Review. He actively participates in the University of London's external law programmes.
