Clay Dunklin

Clay Dunklin is a Professor of Foundation Studies at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Savannah, GA. He holds an M.F.A. in Studio Art from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a B.F.A. in Art from the University of Central Florida. His artistic practice spans sculpture, installation, and interdisciplinary projects, with exhibitions exploring themes of nature, mythology, and materiality.

Dunklin has presented at venues including the Delaware Contemporary, Portland State University, and the University of Maryland Art Gallery. His research incorporates ecological and biological motifs, often examining human-animal relationships through mixed-media works. Awards recognizing his contributions include the David C. Driskell Award of Excellence and the Daniel Nicholson Ohlke Memorial Award.
