Yves Paquette

Yves Paquette is a Professor and Coordinator of Ceramic Arts at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Savannah, GA, where he has taught since 2000. He holds an M.F.A. in ceramics from Ohio University and a B.F.A. in fine art from Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Previously, he served as Assistant Professor and Chairperson of Art at North Central College and Adjunct Instructor at Central Piedmont Community College, teaching courses in ceramics, sculpture, figure drawing, and art appreciation.

His research focuses on ceramics, sculpture, and three-dimensional design, with extensive experience in managing sculpture studios and curating exhibitions. He has written successful grant proposals for outdoor installations and advised student clubs.

He has participated in over 30 exhibitions nationally, including solo shows like 'Land up High...' (2015) and group exhibitions such as 'Savannah Clay' (2007-2015). He regularly gives gallery talks and workshops on architectural ceramics, low-fire glazes, and artist development.
