Claudio Coletta is an Associate Professor at the University of Bologna's Department of Philosophy, specializing in Sociology of Cultural and Communication Processes. His research focuses on Sociology and Science and Technology Studies (STS), particularly digital infrastructures, urban transformations, climate change, and ethnographic methods. He holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Trento and has held roles at institutions including Maynooth University, the University of Antwerp, and the University of Tokyo. He is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Global Fellow (2020–2023) and recipient of the Ulysses Programme Award (2016).

Research Interests: Coletta explores the intersection of digital technologies and urban systems, emphasizing infrastructural dynamics, temporal analysis, and governance. Recent projects include INFRATIME, examining infrastructural temporalities in the Anthropocene.
