Claudia M. Bordogna

Claudia M. Bordogna is a Senior Lecturer and School Employability Manager at the Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University. Her role focuses on enhancing postgraduate students' personal and professional development through mentoring programs and curriculum management. She holds a fellowship from the Higher Education Academy (2011) and is a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC).

Her research centers on transnational education (TNE) partnerships, academic staff integration, and mentoring strategies. Key areas include boundary spanning in TNE collaborations, social capital development, and doctoral supervision. She has conducted studies in Sino-British educational partnerships and contributed to frameworks for quality assurance in TNE.

Bordogna has over a decade of experience in higher education, including eight years managing transnational programs in China. Prior to academia, she worked in corporate teambuilding and live brand communication, managing projects worth up to £1.5 million. She currently oversees mentoring initiatives for ~600 annual postgraduate students and coaches new academic staff in research and leadership.

Her scholarly output includes peer-reviewed articles in Studies in Higher Education, Journal of Studies in International Education, and others. Awards highlight her work recognized by HEA, UUK, QAA, and the British Council. She serves as a reviewer for ABS 2-3* journals and contributes to EMCC's research and development activities.
