Elaine Limond serves as Vice Dean of the Business School at University College Birmingham, overseeing academic and professional initiatives. She previously held roles including Deputy Dean (strategy, recruitment, innovation), Acting Dean of Sport, and Lecturer in BTEC Sport programmes. Her career blends academic leadership with expertise in high-performance cultures and coaching.
Education: BA (Hons) in Sport Studies from Northumbria University, PGCE from Nottingham Trent University, MSc in Coaching from Loughborough University, and EMBA from Aston Business School. She also holds a Level 4 coaching qualification in Rugby Union.
Research interests focus on leadership, coaching behavior, group dynamics, and high-performance cultures. She has contributed to initiatives like the higher apprenticeship Coaching Professional program and the EMCC Spotlight Series.
