Dr. Jesvir Kaur Mahil is a Senior Lecturer and Senior Leader Degree Apprenticeship Coach at Aston Business School, Aston University. She holds a PhD in Education from the University of Birmingham, specializing in Creativity in Education through autoethnographic research. Her career includes roles as an Ofsted inspector, Education Consultant, and Lecturer in Further Education Colleges.

Research focuses on autoethnography, public engagement, Sikh studies, and social justice. She explores creativity in education, equality, and social mobility among migrant communities. Current projects include studies on ethnicity pay gaps and the book Azaadi, Izzat and Ghar Qualifications.
Awards include Fellowships from the Society for Education & Training (FSET), Higher Education Academy (FHEA), and Chartered Managers Institute (FCMI). She is also a Qualified Teacher Learning & Skills (QTLS).
