Her research centers on social capital networks, expatriate identity adaptation under geopolitical shifts like Brexit, and career management in professional services firms. Current work examines how service professionals navigate career trajectories amid chance events and how entrepreneurs strategically leverage networks for business growth, supported by Swiss National Science Foundation funding.
Analysis of her 2020-2024 publications reveals dominant themes in relational dynamics: CEO succession impacts on strategic change, identity threats for expatriates, fortuitous career events in up-or-out professions, and investor network effects on entrepreneurial outcomes. Her interdisciplinary work bridges strategic management, HR, and international business in top journals like Academy of Management Journal.
No specific scientific awards are documented, though her research has received significant media coverage in RTS, Le Temps, and The Conversation regarding Brexit impacts and career fortuity.
She teaches organizational theory, strategy, and international management across bachelor's, master's, and MBA programs in English, French, and German, with prior teaching at University of Geneva and HEC Paris. Her current Swiss National Science Foundation grant funds research on entrepreneurs' network evolution.
As Director of the Institute of Management, she leads research teams focused on strategic network dynamics, fostering industry collaborations to address contemporary management challenges in globalization and organizational change.
