Clark Metz is a Teaching Assistant Professor and Math 124 course coordinator at West Virginia University's School of Mathematical and Data Sciences. A WVU alumnus, he holds an M.S. in Applied Mathematics and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration. His teaching spans quantitative reasoning, algebra, calculus, and differential equations.
Metz researches student success factors and administrative impacts on learning outcomes, with prior work in spectral analysis. He co-founded the WVU Math Club and Bowling Club, serves on the WV State Math Field Day committee, and coaches the WV National Math Team.
