Clara Brügge is a Lecturer at the Department of Humanities, Social and Political Sciences, ETH Zürich. She holds a Master's in Development Studies from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor's in Politics from the University of Konstanz and Sciences Po Paris. Her research focuses on renewable energy transitions, policy measures for sustainable supply chains, and public opinion on environmental issues. She is affiliated with the Sustainable Supply Chain Lab and the Swiss Environmental Panel, collaborating with the Swiss Federal Environmental Agency (BAFU).
Education: PhD candidate at ETH Zürich (since 2022), Master's degrees in Politics (University of Konstanz) and Development Studies (LSE), and a Bachelor's in Political Science (Konstanz/Sciences Po Paris).
Research interests include policy design for decarbonization technologies, circular economy, and public opinion dynamics. Recent publications analyze consumer preferences for circular products, CO2 removal policies, and noise abatement measures. She has worked at the OECD, UN Environment Programme, and German Permanent Mission to the UN.
Labs/Teams: Swiss Environmental Panel (tracking public opinion on climate change) and Sustainable Supply Chain Lab (focusing on supply chain sustainability).
