Claire Palermo is a Professor and Deputy Dean (Education) in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at Monash University. She holds dual credentials as an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Fellow of the Dietitians Association of Australia. Her research focuses on competency-based assessment, health workforce preparedness, and curriculum development in health professions education. She has received numerous awards for teaching excellence, including the Dean's Excellence in Education and Vice-Chancellor's Award for Programs that Enhance Learning (2021).
