Claire Louise Chan

Mrs Claire Chan is a Statistician at the Centre for Evaluation and Methods, part of the Wolfson Institute of Population Health at Queen Mary University of London. She holds a BSc in Statistics from University College London (2010-13) and an MSc in Medical Statistics from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (2013-14).

• Specializes in methodology for pragmatic clinical trials, pilot/feasibility studies, and cluster randomized trials
• Contributed to CONSORT extension guidelines for pilot trials
• Co-organizes annual cluster randomized trials workshops
• Developed methodological resources for trial design and reporting

Research Contributions

Her work addresses challenges in trial design, analysis, and reporting standards, including statistical advising for the NIHR Research Design Service.
