Dr. Cindy Conley is a Professor and Director of the Office of Student Success at Cumberland University. She leads a team providing academic support to students and teaches courses in Foundations of Scholarship and Psychology. Her academic background includes a B.S. in Criminal Justice (University of Central Missouri), M.S. in Human Services Counseling (Murray State University), Ed.S. in School Counseling and Instructional Leadership (Tennessee Tech), and a Ph.D. in Exceptional Learning with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis (Tennessee Tech).
Her research focuses on community partnerships and educational strategies for at-risk adolescents, alongside applying Applied Behavior Analysis to enhance academic and social success. Dr. Conley has extensive experience in mental health and education, including roles as a school counselor in Wilson and Rutherford County School Districts and a private practice counselor. She currently works part-time with youth in foster care as a Licensed Behavior Analyst.
She holds leadership in academic support initiatives and emphasizes collaboration between community and educational systems to improve student outcomes. Personal interests include family life and caring for her 'fur babies'.
