Chunrye Kim is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice at Saint Joseph's University. Her research focuses on intimate partner violence (IPV), stalking, violence against women, and community-based intervention policies, with an interdisciplinary approach to contemporary social issues like mass shootings, abortion, and victimization stigma.

Recent work examines technology-facilitated IPV, cross-cultural dynamics in violence against women, and pandemic-related shifts in bullying discourse. She also explores social stigma in queer relationships and help-seeking barriers in Latin America.
