Christopher Yenkey is an Associate Professor of International Business at the Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina, with tenure. He holds core faculty positions at the School of Law’s Rule of Law Collaborative and is affiliated with the Walker Institute’s African Program. His research focuses on corruption as a collective action problem, political violence’s impact on global capital flows, and organizational misconduct. He has taught at the PhD, master’s, and undergraduate levels, including courses on organizational misconduct and African business dynamics. Yenkey earned his PhD in Economic Sociology from Cornell University and a BA in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.

Research Interests: Economic sociology, organization theory, corruption, distrust, organizational wrongdoing, and emerging markets.

Teaching and Advising: Supervises PhD students at USC and Strathmore University. Courses include 'Business in Africa,' 'Organizational Misconduct,' and 'PhD Research Design.'
Labs/Teams: Core member of the Rule of Law Collaborative and collaborates with institutions in Africa on governance and corruption research.
