Christopher Waters

Christopher Waters is a Professor at the University of Windsor Faculty of Law. He holds a D.C.L. (2002) and LL.M. (1998) from McGill University, LL.B. from Queen's University (1994), and B.A. from University of Toronto (1991). Previously served as Dean (2015-2021) and Associate Dean (2009-2012).

Research expertise spans:

• Law and politics in Eastern Europe
• Active transportation policy
• Use of force regulations

Publications examine naval warfare law, ICRC privileges, and cycling legislation. He teaches Public International Law, International Humanitarian Law, and Contracts.
