Christopher Volpe serves as Adjunct Faculty of Trumpet at University of St. Thomas's College of Arts and Sciences. He is principal trumpet of Minnesota Sinfonia and member of Minnesota Opera Orchestra since 1999.
His performance career spans orchestral, opera, ballet, and Broadway productions including performances with Metropolitan Opera, Chicago Lyric Opera, and The Three Tenors. He has performed with artists including Prince, Paul Simon, and Julie Andrews.
He teaches trumpet performance and directs the Brass Choir. A Northwestern University graduate, he studied with Vincent Cichowicz of Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
