Dr. Christopher Swart is an Assistant Professor of Exercise Science and Internship Coordinator at the School of Health Sciences, American International College (AIC), where he has served since Summer 2021. He holds a PhD in Exercise Physiology from Springfield College and prior faculty roles at West Virginia Wesleyan College, Bridgewater State University, and Endicott College. His expertise spans sports performance, strength and conditioning, and clinical populations.

His research interests focus on bridging theoretical and applied concepts in health and fitness, with emphasis on optimizing athletic performance and improving clinical outcomes through exercise science. He has directed Human Performance Laboratories at multiple institutions and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA.
Dr. Swart actively mentors students in career development within Exercise Science and Strength and Conditioning, emphasizing practical skill application. His teaching includes Exercise Physiology Laboratory courses and internship coordination.
