Christopher Potvin is an Assistant Professor of Math and Data Science at Warren Wilson College. He teaches courses such as Precalculus, Differential Equations, Statistics, and Data Science of Networks. His research focuses on Topological Data Analysis, Algebraic Topology, and Hypergraphs. He is a member of the 2023 MAA Project NExT cohort, a professional development program for early-career math educators.

- B.S. in Physics and Mathematics (Bridgewater College, 2016)
- M.S. in Mathematics (Bowling Green State University, 2018)
- Ph.D. in Mathematics (Michigan State University, advised by Dr. Elizabeth Munch)
Research & Outreach: Dr. Potvin has interned at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (2022) in Topological Data Analysis. He actively engages in math/science outreach, including MSU Math Camps, Science Olympiad, and Campfire Science Night. His teaching philosophy emphasizes student-centered learning, reflecting his background as a long-time summer camp counselor and director.
