Christopher P Manfredi is a Professor and currently serves as Provost and Vice-Principal (Academic) at McGill University. He holds a PhD from Claremont Graduate School. His research focuses on Canadian Politics, particularly judicial politics, legal mobilization, constitutional design, and the intersection of law and politics. Key projects include examining rights litigation's role in healthcare policy and the impact of Charter jurisprudence on Canadian citizenship concepts.
His research explores how courts influence public policy, especially in healthcare, and how constitutional frameworks shape citizenship rights.
