Dr. Emmanuelle Richez is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Windsor. She specializes in Canadian law and politics, with a primary focus on official and Indigenous language rights. Her research explores constitutional frameworks, judicial review, and social movements' digital mobilization. Richez holds a PhD from McGill University, a Master’s from Université Laval, and a Bachelor’s from the University of Ottawa. She has held postdoctoral fellowships at Concordia University and the University of New South Wales, and has professional experience in Canada’s House of Commons and Quebec National Assembly.
Recent engagements include organizing a colloquium honoring Benoit Pelletier at the CAP-CF (April 2025), presenting on the Court Challenges Program at Université Laval (February 2025), and serving as Vice-Chair of French schoolboard Viamonde (November 2024).
