Geoffrey D. Callaghan

Geoffrey D. Callaghan is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Political Science, University of Windsor, within the Faculty of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. Holding a Ph.D. in Philosophy (McMaster University, 2014) and an M.S.L. in Law (University of Toronto, 2015), his work bridges legal, political, and social thought.

Research focuses on dissent and legitimacy, constitutional law, judicial process, and mechanisms to address democratic deficits. His publications explore intervenors in Canadian courts, critiques of natural law theory, and intersections of philosophy with social concepts like athleticism.
