Marie Deschamps is a distinguished jurist, former Supreme Court of Canada Justice (2002–2012), and Adjunct Professor at McGill University (since 2012) and Université de Sherbrooke (since 2006). Born in Repentigny, QC, she holds an LLL from Université de Montréal (1974) and an LLM from McGill University (1983).
