Christopher Lalley

Christopher Lalley serves as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics at Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University. He holds both an MSc and PhD in Economics and specializes in teaching undergraduate Microeconomics across all academic levels.

His research centers on Labour Economics with particular emphasis on returns to education, complemented by significant work in Education Economics and Financial Literacy. These interconnected fields examine economic decision-making in educational investments and personal finance contexts.

Professionally active beyond campus, Lalley contributes as a Council Member of the Scottish Economic Society and maintains research collaborations with the Scottish Economics Society and Professor Robert E Wright.
