Christopher Keast

Christopher Keast serves as a Lecturer Practitioner within the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Social Care at Anglia Ruskin University, Chelmsford, where he teaches clinical skills and practical methodology on the MSc Physiotherapy (Pre-Registration) postgraduate program. He maintains active dual roles in academia and clinical practice, concurrently working at St Andrew’s Centre for Plastic Surgery and Burns.

His expertise spans specialized areas including respiratory care in Burns Intensive Care Units, rehabilitation following severe burn injuries, and facial palsy management. Christopher pioneered one of the UK's few specialist physiotherapy services for facial paralysis, where he administers Botox injections as part of advanced treatment protocols. His educational foundation includes a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Coventry University, followed by specialization in Burns and Plastics at St. Andrew’s Centre, Broomfield Hospital.

As a Chartered Physiotherapist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, he bridges cutting-edge clinical practice with academic instruction. His work emphasizes evidence-based rehabilitation techniques and innovative service development in highly specialized physiotherapy domains.
