Christopher J. Borgen is a Professor of Law and Co-Director of the Center for International and Comparative Law at St. John's University School of Law. He previously served as Associate Dean for International Studies (2009–2014). His expertise spans international law, national security, and space law. Borgen co-founded Opinio Juris, a platform for international legal discourse, and contributed to the International Law Association’s Committee on Recognition and Non-Recognition in International Law. He also participates in the 'Woomera Manual' project on military space operations.
