- The influence of sport and sporting events (Olympic Games, FIFA World Cup, Rugby World Cup, UEFA Euro) on host territories, including internal effects like strengthening community belonging, civic pride, and engagement in physical activity, as well as external effects like improving city awareness, image, and attractiveness to tourists and businesses
- The construction and management of brand strategies by sports federations as non-profit organizations, particularly examining development policies in contexts of increased competition and reduced public subsidies
Professor Hautbois's work extends to analyzing how local authorities implement branding strategies and development plans to promote territories through sporting events.
He maintains an active research profile with his work documented through his ORCID identifier (0000-0003-1866-1694).
