Christopher Green is a Lecturer in Initial Teacher Education (ITE) at Queen Margaret University (QMU), based in the Psychology, Sociology and Education Division. He joined QMU in 2019 and focuses on creative pedagogy, inclusive practices, and sustainable education. As Module Leader for Education Studies, Sustainable Human Behaviour, and Creativity and Culture in the 21st Century, he integrates outdoor learning and technology into teacher training. He collaborates with colleagues to develop resources for technology-driven curriculum delivery and co-leads Forest and Outdoor Learning Awards (FOLA) training.
Previously, he served as Headteacher of an independent school for students with additional support needs (ASN), working across primary and secondary education with multidisciplinary teams. His current research interests include outdoor learning, sustainable consumption, and innovative pedagogy, alongside a Master's in Research (Education) focused on outdoor learning.
He contributes to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses, covering numeracy, classroom management, and inclusive practices. His work aligns with QMU’s commitment to sustainability, reflecting his broader advocacy for accessible and engaging education for all young people.
