Christopher Gorse is a Professor of Construction Engineering and Management at Loughborough University, leading the Construction Research Group. He holds roles including Chair of the CIOB Sustainability Panel and founding Chair of the SEEDS International Conference. His expertise spans sustainable construction, energy efficiency, and building performance evaluation.
Education: BSc (Hons) in Building Management (Leeds Metropolitan University), MSc in Construction Law and Arbitration, PhD in Management (University of Leicester).
Research Interests: Focuses on sustainable building design, energy-efficient technologies, smart cities, and industry-academia collaboration. Key areas include renewable energy integration, thermal performance optimization, and reducing the carbon footprint of construction projects.
