Christoph Durt is a philosopher and lecturer at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), focusing on the intersection of philosophy, digitalization, and AI. He holds a PhD from the University of California, Santa Cruz (2012), and has held academic positions across institutions including UC Berkeley, the University of Vienna, and the University of Heidelberg. His research explores philosophical foundations of digital technology, phenomenology, and the history of philosophy.
Education: Studied Philosophy, Psychology, Computer Linguistics, and Intercultural Communication at universities in Heidelberg, Tucson (Arizona), and Munich. Completed his PhD at UCSC under advisors including Julian Nida-Rümelin and David Hoy.
