Christine Schwartz

Christine Schwartz is an Adjunct Professor at Simon Fraser University's Faculty of Health Sciences, affiliated with the Children's Health Policy Centre. She specializes in child and youth mental health research with a focus on bridging research, policy, and clinical practice. Her work includes authoring the Children’s Mental Health Research Quarterly and co-authoring peer-reviewed articles on interventions for social-emotional wellbeing and mental health challenges among vulnerable populations.

Her professional activities include supervising graduate students and research trainees, alongside maintaining a clinical psychology practice providing evidence-based mental health services to adolescents involved in the legal system. Key research themes address pandemic-related mental health impacts and systemic approaches to youth mental health support.
