Christine Parker is Professor of Law and Associate Dean (Research) at Melbourne Law School. Her research examines regulatory governance in corporate accountability, food systems, and legal ethics. She leads ARC Centre of Excellence projects on automated decision-making and society.
Research Focus: Studies regulatory politics in food systems, animal welfare, digital economy, and competition law. Current projects analyze ultra-processed food regulation, ethical investment in agriculture, and AI governance.
Leadership: Chief Investigator in ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision Making and Society. Develops curriculum in animal law and food policy.
Publications: Authored influential texts including The Open Corporation and Inside Lawyers' Ethics. Recent articles address sustainable food systems and AI regulation.
