Christine McKibbin

Christine McKibbin is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Wyoming, with a focus on clinical psychology. She serves as Director of the Wyoming Center on Aging and Project Director for the Wyoming Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program. Her research spans foundational studies to real-world implementation of interventions for rural older adults and caregivers.

Research Interests include improving health, mental health, and functional outcomes for rural older adults through community-engaged approaches. Key areas are aging studies, caregiver support, telehealth interventions, and workforce wellbeing. Her lab examines chronic disease management, dementia care, and implementation science in rural primary care settings.

Teaching includes courses on Introduction to Clinical Supervision and Summer Clerkship. She actively mentors graduate students and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams across Wyoming.
