Dr. Christine Fraser is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Faculty of Education at Thompson Rivers University. She holds a PhD in Developmental Psychology and Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE), University of Toronto, an MEd in Cognitive Studies from Queen's University, and a Bachelor of Teaching from the University of Western Sydney. Her research focuses on reading development, literacy interventions for English Language Learners (ELLs), and educational equity. She actively investigates longitudinal predictors of reading achievement and the role of prosodic awareness in reading fluency.
