Christine Brown-Wilson is a Professor in the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Queen's University Belfast. She holds roles as Director of Internationalisation and Education Theme Lead, and leads the Graduate Entry Masters Nursing program. Her research focuses on ageing, dementia care, digital health, and participatory methodologies involving stakeholders to improve healthcare education and practice. She is a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and has extensive international collaborations in Australia, Singapore, and the UK.
Christine supervises PhD students in areas like digital health integration in nursing curricula, dementia care, and long-term care interventions. She has received awards such as the Alzheimer's Society Dementia Hero Award (Shortlisted) and the Community Impact Award Team Finalist. Her work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in enhancing healthcare quality and accessibility.
Key projects include co-designing digital resources for dementia care and diabetes education in nursing homes. She has published widely on healthcare education, dementia, and quality improvement strategies.
