Christina Maranci is the Mashtots Professor of Armenian Studies and Professor of the History of Art and Architecture at Harvard University, affiliated with the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations. She specializes in Armenian art and culture, particularly from the late antique and medieval periods.

- BA in Art History, Vassar College
- MA and PhD in Art and Archaeology, Princeton University
Her research focuses on Armenian art and architecture, cultural heritage preservation, and interdisciplinary studies of the Christian East. She has authored four books and over 100 articles, with notable works including Vigilant Powers: Three Churches of Early Medieval Armenia and The Art of Armenia. Her current project examines the medieval city of Ani, integrating art history, epigraphy, theology, and political history.
