Christina Hornbach is a Professor of Music and Department Chair at Hope College. She has presented workshops at state, regional, and national MENC/NAfME conferences, as well as local and international venues, and has published extensively in leading music education journals.

Her research focuses on early childhood and elementary music education, with specializations in choral methods, music psychology, and curriculum development. She founded the West Michigan early childhood program Early Bird Music and taught at institutions including Michigan State University, SUNY: Buffalo, and Radford University.
Recent publications address topics like tonal audiation, student engagement, and cross-cultural pedagogy. Awards include the 2017 Michigan Music Education Association Award of Merit and multiple Jacob E. Nyenhuis Faculty Development Grants.
