Marcy Bacon is an Adjunct Professor in Applied Music at Nazareth University's School of Music since 2008. She teaches clarinet techniques and performs with the Wilmot Wind Quintet, modern chamber music group fivebyfive, and the woodwind quintet Fem Vindar. Her performance highlights include Rochester Fringe Festival appearances (2017-2019), WXXI radio features, and national festival performances.

As a founding member of the New York State Chapter of the Gordon Institute for Music Learning (GIML), she combines performance expertise with music education advocacy. Maintaining an active performance career, she has recorded for Oregon Catholic Press and currently operates a private studio in Chili, NY.
