Christina Donaldson is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Interdisciplinary Art and Design Studies at the University of North Texas. Her work bridges academia and creative practice, focusing on critical dialogues about resilience, failure, and affective labor in art and design education. She holds a Ph.D. in Art Education (2024) and an M.F.A. in Interior Design (2015), both from UNT, along with a Master of Psychology from the University of Dallas and a B.F.A. in Design from Marylhurst University.

With 15+ years in the design industry, she emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration and the lived realities of creative work.
