Key themes include the development of global clinical guidelines, biomarker trajectories in COVID-19, imaging in TB trials, and antifungal/antibiotic susceptibility. These works reflect a strong trend toward translational research, international collaboration, and evidence-based guideline development.
- Australian NHMRC Early Career Fellowship (2015–2020) on HIV prevention and cure
- Contributions referenced in clinical guideline sources
- Work cited in policy sources and widely disseminated via media and social platforms
Christina Chang leads and contributes to major research grants and clinical trials, including NHMRC-funded projects and US-NIH supported studies through the INSIGHT network. She supervises PhD students at Monash University and mentors early-career researchers through her roles in large collaborative studies. Her leadership as Primary Chief Investigator in multiple research projects highlights her role in securing and managing research funding.
She is actively involved in research networks including the INSIGHT clinical trial network and collaborates with institutions in South Africa, the US, and globally. Her work at Nucleus Network involves early-phase and first-in-human clinical trials, indicating leadership in translational research infrastructure.
