University of Luxembourgمعرفی
Dr. Christian Reidenbach is a part-time lecturer at the University of Luxembourg's Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences, Department of Humanities. He also teaches at the Athénée de Luxembourg. His academic focus spans literary and intellectual history of the 17th and 18th centuries.
- Education: Magister artium in German and French Philology (University of Trier), Diplom-Schauspieler (Hannover University of Music, Drama and Media), PhD (Bonn, Paris-Sorbonne IV, Florence), Habilitation (Bonn University).
Research interests include literary anthropology, early modern tragedy and political theory, European intellectual history, and the intersection of literary and knowledge history. His work explores how concepts like the void and oikeiosis shaped literary and philosophical discourses.
Key publications analyze the interplay of theater and political theory during the Classical Age, alongside the intellectual history of empty space in 17th-century literature. These works bridge interdisciplinary gaps between literature, philosophy, and political science.
As a trained actor (Diplom-Schauspieler, Hannover) and educator, he combines performative and scholarly perspectives in his research. His academic career includes postdoctoral research at Stuttgart University and teaching roles in both Luxembourgish secondary education and higher education.
